Honest Wealth & Dignity of Labour.
Restore honour to lawful work and remove the social glamour around theft of public funds.
A society that celebrates wealth without asking how it was earned will be governed by those who cannot answer that question honestly. Until honest work is honoured and dishonest wealth is named for what it is, no anti-corruption agency or election will change Nigeria.
What this reset demands
- Public refusal to celebrate wealth that cannot be explained.
- Restoration of dignity to craft, trade, teaching, farming, public service and small business.
- End of social rituals — chieftaincy titles, church recognition, community honours — that launder stolen money into respectability.
- Standards inside town unions, professional bodies and faith institutions that ask uncomfortable questions before they ask for donations.
Why this is civic, not just moral
Where dishonest wealth is socially valuable, public office becomes a route to it. Reform agencies cannot move faster than the culture they sit inside. Restoring honest wealth is the precondition of clean politics — not a consequence of it.
